BOOK REVIEW: THE RIBBON TRAP BY SHINE SYAMALADEVI

Do you like crime thrillers. Do you like suspense building up as you read the book. If yes, then this is what you would like to read.

A new kind of crime fiction that will make you clap for the author.

MY SAY:

The central characters of the novel are Smita-the protagonist and her fiance; Krishnaprem.
The story revolves around a family feud to capture the seat of the prime minister.

The author is a keen observer of everyday politics as Smita’s enemies hatch an intricate and an unbeatable plot in which they accuse her of killing a politician due to which she is sent to jail.

The author has efficiently depicted her as a victim of a huge political controversy.

The author has also created a parallel story in which Smita imagines herself as Krishnaprem and falls in love with Mamta.

Some bandits capture Mamta and ransack her home.
On the contrary, in the real world, Krishnaprem tries to revive her and does everything possible.

The author has displayed a loving and affectionate man who always stands for her lady love.

Due to his love and the expertise of the doctors, Smita regains her health and composure and comes out of her imaginative world into reality.

Later on she starts searching for the main culprit due to whom all this happened.

MERITS:

1. A never heard before story. Will be cherished by one and all.

2. Climax is dramatic.

DEMERITS
:
1. Some grammatical errors and spelling mistakes can be spotted.
2. Latter chapters are better than the former.

RATOMETER: 9/10
