MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING IS THE BASIS OF FRIENDSHIP

Rama and Sara had been close friends since their childhood. They went to the same school and even graduated from the same college. They usually went out to watch movies and also bought expensive clothes for themselves.

One day while shopping, they saw a gorgeous gown. They were mesmerized by its elegance and shine and wanted to purchase it at any price. Both of them ran towards it only to know that it was the last piece.

‘Sara, I saw a stunning green sari over there. You will look quite charming in it,’ said Rama while pointing towards its location.

‘Even I saw a beautiful lehenga over there. It will suit you perfectly, ‘frowned Sara.

‘Remove your hands from the gown Sara. Its me who spotted it first so I get the right to purchase it,’ frowned Rama.

‘But its me who reached here first so I will buy it,’ said Sara angrily.

‘I don’t care. I want it at any cost,’ blurted Rama.

‘Same here,’ babbled Sara.

Seeing no way out, both of them started to pull the gown in opposite directions and it ripped off. Immediately the storekeeper came and asked them to pay for the gown. As luck may have it, the poor ladies had to pay for something that they could never flaunt and cherish.

MORAL: Mutual understanding is the basis of friendship.
