Once there were two kids named Arun and Akash. Both of them were neighbours and were best of friends. They went to and returned from the school together and also participated in various functions which only increased their mutual trust and nurtured their friendship.
Years passed by and they finished their 10th standard examinations.
Arun was brilliant in mathematics and science and thus he chose science field. On the other hand, Akash was brilliant in linguistics and thus he went to pursue humanities.
For the first few days, they played and enjoyed together as they had been doing since their childhood but as time passed, there was a drastic change in Arun’s nature.
‘Hey Arun. Where are you? I can’t see you in the park,’ said Akash while talking to Arun on his phone.
‘Sorry buddy but I wouldn’t be able to join you today,’ said Arun.
‘But why,’ asked Akash.
‘I have a lot to study and will not be able to come for a few days,’ said Arun and he cut the phone hastily.
Arun neither responded to Akash’s call nor did he accompany him to the school anymore.
One day, Akash spotted Arun on the street with his batch mates and asked him to have a word or two with him.
‘I will call you in the evening Akash. Right now I am busy,’ frowned Arun.
‘Neither do you come to the park nor do you pick up my phone,’ said Akash.
‘I said that I will call you in the evening. Please go now,’ frowned Arun.
‘Is everything ok Arun?.’ asked Akash to his dismay.
‘Are you an idiot? Can’t you understand my words? Ah! Well what else can be expected from an imbecile linguistics student like you,’ mocked Arun and all his batch-mates began to laugh. Poor Akash controlled his tears and left the scene at once.
That day after reaching his home, Akash took an oath that he will prove Arun wrong by hook or by crook.
The same day he started a blog and wrote short stories and poems. Everyday after returning from school and completing his homework, he would sit down on his study table and wrote as many stories and poems as possible. Days passed on and his blog began to get popular among people across all ages especially students.
After a year of blogging, he was interviewed by various newspapers and magazines as he had become a role model for the young generation and had inspired them to follow their dreams.
One day while he was returning to his home, Arun apologised to him for his bad behaviour. Akash immediately forgave him and hugged him tightly. They shunned all the differences that had crept in between them and once again became best of friends.
