Once a boy asked his teacher ‘Why does the evil win?’ . The teacher replied “Because the good are not united”.
‘Let me explain it to you in the form of a story,’ said the teacher.
Once upon a time there were two kings. Both of them had a concern for justice, peace, and genuine respect for their subjects but they did not have sound trade relations and often claimed each others territory due to which they frequently indulged in minor clashes.
After a few years, a foreign king decided to invade their kingdoms. He along with his ministers analysed the conditions and found out that it was nearly impossible to confront them openly so they decided to take advantage of their bad relations.
The foreign king sided with the first king and offered him to help in defeating his rival. The first king readily accepted his offer and declared war on his enemy.
Thousands of men died and hundreds of them were mutilated on the battlefield but the war didn’t conclude as both of them were equally powerful. As planned, the foreign king declared a surprise attack and outnumbered the second king’s army but instead of sharing the territory of the new kingdom with the first king, he captured and executed both of them and declared himself as the supreme monarch.
