Once there was a mouse who was in search of cheese. A hungry snake spotted the mouse and decided to eat him. He thought of a clever plan and slithered towards the mouse.
‘I know a place where there is a lot of cheese and you can eat it for the rest of your life,’ said the snake.
‘Please let me know where is it?’ asked the innocent mouse.
The snake opened its mouth and said ‘My stomach is full of cheese. Enter through my mouth and you will find loads of cheese.’
As soon as the innocent mouse entered the snake’s mouth, he gulped him. ‘Ha ha, it was a trap. There is no cheese inside my stomach. You will soon be burnt by my intestinal acids,’ roared the snake.
The mouse remained calm and thought of a strategy. He laughed and said ‘I will tear your heart into bits and pieces by my sharp teeth.’ The snake was scared to death and pleaded him not to do so. He promised to eject him out of his body then and there but the mouse was aware of the snake’s hypocrisy. He knew that as soon as the snake would eject him out of his body, he would inject his poison and kill him.
Thus the mouse devised a plan and said ‘I accept your offer but I want you to release me in my burrow. Be fast or I will chew your heart.’ The snake hurried to burrow and vomited inside it. The mouse mocked him and the snake left in utter shame.
