Once there were two pitcher plants in a forest. One of them was very energetic, active and peppy while the other was lazy, sluggish and lethargic.
The active pitcher plant opened up its cavity at the time of sunrise and displayed its colorful and vivid leaves intermingled with a tantalizing aroma to attract as many insects as possible. But the sluggish pitcher plant neither opened up its cavity nor did it try to attract the insects by exhibiting its beauty and fragrance.
The active pitcher plant also generated moisture at the threshold of its cavity that caused the insects to fall inside it. But the lazy pitcher plant didn’t do anything significant to lure the insects due to which it was barely able to survive.
The same routine continued for a few months that caused the health of the lazy pitcher plant to deteriorate and one day it finally died. On the other hand, due to proper nutrition, the active pitcher plant became strong and healthy and reproduced many pitcher plants all across the forest.
MORAL: RENUNCIATE LAZINESS AND BE ACTIVE
