Once there were two businesses competing to take control of their market. One out of them overpromised their customers a lot. They displayed ads and boasted about their features but actually they didn’t deliver the products on time. Moreover, they had various hidden costs on their products and services which hampered their relationship with their customers.
On the other hand, the second business didn’t invest a lot of money on unwanted advertisements rather they sent personalized messages and built personal contacts with their customers. They invested in improving their supply chains so that they could deliver their products on time. They also trained their employees well so that they could service their customers properly. Moreover, they didn’t have any kind of hidden costs as their competitor.
Days passed on and people began to realize the difference between the two. After a year, everyone in the city started using the services of the second company whereas the former company lost its foothold and shut down.
MORAL: ITS BETTER TO UNDERPROMISE AND OVERDELIVER
