OVERCONFIDENCE AND NEGLIGENCE IS THE CAUSE OF ONE’S DECAY

Once upon a time there was a boy named Raman who was a Football prodigy. While he was in high school, his team won the intercollege football championship and were selected for the state level competition. Raman along with his team members practiced day and night and won the state level championship as well. They won a scholarship of Rs.10 lakh and were invited for press interviews across the state. Their classmates, school teachers, friends, relatives and family members blessed them for the upcoming national football championship where they would compete with the best teams across the country.

All was going well but suddenly Raman and his team became overconfident due to which they cut down their training hours and instead began to play FIFA on Playstation. After a few days they were so addicted to it that they wouldn’t get up for hours and play incessantly. Thus over a period of time, their football skills were ruined as a result of which they lost the national football championship and repented for the whole year.
